In the thick of the action is private eye and die-hard law student, Jussi Vares (played by Antti Reini), a creation familiar from the detective stories by Reijo Mäki.
Vares, a straight-forward man in his forties, hires his gun out to anyone for confidential investigations, not too many questions asked. A tough guy, Vares has only two weaknesses: cold beer and hot women and he can’t say no to either of them.
